Reviews Casa Francesca – Holiday Apartments on Lake Garda – Torri del Benaco

My wife and I stayed for a one week vacation at Casa Francesca in June 2026.

If possible we would give Casa Francesca six stars (five is max).

The proprietor and keeper of the Casa is Francesca herself – a very pleasant and helpful lady.
Francesca prefers to let the apartments directly to you without any go-betweens, a practice I myself also much prefer.

The apartment we had - Genziana - was spacious and crystal clean on arrival.
The equipment in the kitchen was more than adequate to make your own meals. We made our own breakfast and sometimes lunch but went out for dinner. For groceries we recommend a very good store in the little town of Costermano named “Famila”.

For an evening meal your best choice will be Trattoria El Brol in Castion Veronese.

A fifteen minutes drive away from Albisano.
If you prefer to walk you have two choices in Albisano, either the Pizzeria le Tavernette or the restaurant in Hotel Panorama.

The six apartments are situated in a garden that actually resembles a small well-kept park with a lot of different plants of a special kind. The swimming pool is spacious.
The view from the apartments is absolutely fabulous with Lago di Garda and the mountains behind.

There is a daily bus service down to Torri del Benaco that will take you there – and back again up the hill – for free!
The bus starts from the parking area south of the center of Albisano.

Francesca will tell you when it leaves. (Parking in the towns along the shore of the lake is a lottery in the tourist season.)
Coming to this region you will of course want to visit Monte Baldo.

I recommend going by car up past San Zeno to Prada where there is a lift (funivia) that will take you up to the ridge.

Much easier (and less costly) than going to Malcesine to find a parking space at the gondola lift.

My wife and I will give the Casa Francesca our best recommendations!
